Feast for a Beast!
On monday, my sisters and I made a feast with the nutritionist for my dad's birthday. We made naan bread, lentil curry, butter chicken, and some salad for a side. For dessert a cheesecake that does not include cheese. I forgot to publish this.

Foods Class Finals
I have unfortunately forgotten to put you all up to date on my foods class. We have done the finishing feast and I shall show you it's contents.
The meal consisted of a lentil curry in which my teacher had made beforehand because we already had a lot to cook/bake/grill. Roasted cauliflower, seasoned thoroughly, is added to the meal. Butter chicken, beautifully made, is a perfect fit to our theme. A salad with sunshine sauce is a wondrous dish. and finally the main part of the meal, the naan bread; kneaded with love and grilled to the finest, dip in a little butter chicken sauce and you're ready to go!
For dessert a delicious freezecake. Made of cashews, cocoa powder... and few other things. Sort-of like a cheesecake, but not one! A crust of only crushed dates and pecans. The flower on the top is edible, at first sweet... but don't let it surprise you with that spicy punch!
My team. The guy on the left is Scott, he is my mentor in this cooking class. The young lady elegantly laying in the grass is Hannah, my older older sister. The girl valiantly holding a kitchen utensil is Shiloh, my other older sister. And the cool kid in the corner is me. This is my team of cooking heroes, who fought to keep the food tasty and good for you.

Happy Food is Good Food
Today the nutritionist taught us how to buy the right foods to cook with. On the fruit you buy, there is almost always a sticker with a number with 5 or 4 digits. If the number has a nine at the front, you know it is organic, a four would be non-organic, or a three. We went to the farmers market and learned the difference between happy and sad food. For example, a chicken that was caged its whole life would be sad and unhealthy, but a chicken that could roam free in a barn or field would be happy and would taste better and be better for you. We learned that some cows are grain-fed, and some fed grain directly before they die, so that the cow can be fat and more meat can be sold.

RAP Of MY LIFE
I was at a place that I really really liked,
I had some cats and neighbors that were really really nice,
Two best friends who were really alike,
A mom who stayed at home and a dad at work,
Two sisters and a brother, who is really like our mother,
We got a dog before we moved, maybe a year or two,
A church that my mom sang for, and wait there's one thing more,
The lord told us to start something new,
I was only seven so I didn't understand my sibling's rue,
But we left for Kelowna anyway, leaving Cranbrook eight hours away,
I met new friends but still missed my old ones,
First we lived with two adults with three sons, for five months,
Then we moved again to a four plex,
Then finally our own house where we lived together,
Forever,
Well not exactly but we live there now,
And we don't have a cow,
Just in case you ask,
Just in case I need to take up the task,
Yeah.
