The Pteranodon Story

The Pteranodon Story

In a time long ago
there lived a Pteranodon named Henry.
One day Henry went on a adventure with his friend Lillie, into the time of humans.

When they got there with
their magic  box…

They explored  the  world, they saw beauty in it. Then they saw the bad side of the
world, the cutting of trees, pollution, and more. But, sometimes the humans were
helping the animals. One night when they were asleep a human saw them, and put
them into the zoo. when they awoke “Uh-” Lillie said. “Uh-oh” said Henry. “Oh.” Lillie
                finishing her sentence.
A Long time later…
“Let’s go! Let’s go!” Said Henry. “OKAY” Said Lillie.
And they lived happily ever after.

Pioneer's riding a carriage

This is a picture that i drew from my [Pioneer Life] Book
This is what the words from the book beside the picture said:

Summer was a busy time for the family's working on their farms. This is why the early settlers did not travel much in the summertimes.

And theres more...

There also was a few roads in New France. Because each farm was closer to a river, birch-bark canoes were often used to travel by water. Heavy goods were carried on a raft made of wood with a sail to catch the wind.

And more...

On the farm, the farmer used a cart or a sled pulled by a horse to move heavy bulky things such as wood or hay.People traveling long distances often rode in open carriage called a caleche. This light and speedy carriage could be pulled by a single horse. It's large wheels helped it pass easily through mud and over holes and ruts along the rough roads.

And thats all...
