A Good View From the Skies

Once there was a young female JewelWing named Myron. Myron had a brother named Venroll, a mother named Linda, and a father named Vyel. JewelWings are like humans except they have wings that shine in sunlight and have much better eye-sight. Now let’s get on with the story, shall we?
One day Myron flew down to take her daily walk on the earths surface and decided to take a different path. She took the path on the left instead of the right this time forgetting that her father said there is danger on the other path.
She was just a few steps in a saw something shiny in the bushes, in looked almost like a pendant. Yep definitely a pendant, it had a very fancy letters forming a name the name was Myron, that was her pendant that her mother gave her when she was little! Oh how she dropped it one day! Without thinking she grabbed the pendant and pulled on it, something slippery, long, and thin with no teeth and looked very dangerous was grabbing on to it. The only thing she thought of at that moment was to let go, so she let go of the pendant. she didn’t know about snakes and how some are poisonous and some are not and how that it was actually gardener snake and how it was not as strong as her. Then she flew to her house up in the clouds and told nothing of what happened.
The next morning Myron went to the forest once again, then found her going to the same path were she found her pendant. She saw nothing of the shining golden pendant, she continued walking. It started to get more undergrowth, more darkness in the forest. But she kept walking, walking, walking deeper and deeper into the undergrowth of the forest. Then she saw rustling in the bushes, she was trembling with fear. Suddenly she felt a gentle push on her neck, then fell unconscious. She awoke in a room with a comfy bed which is were she lay, there was a window beside her bed, and there was a neat little door on the other side of the room.
She got up and tried to open the door, it was locked. She looked out her window and saw Kindles, horrible creatures really, they are big, have big beards and everything about them is big, sort-of like Giants but there allot smarter, faster, and they are just a bit smaller than Giants. Among these creatures was a HindWing, a gentle, kind, and elegant creature, but this HindWing was black not the usual brown, it had purple eyes instead of blue, did not look very friendly, and had chains attached a Kindle.
It was dark, her family must be worried sick, she was in a Kindle Fortress, and she could not get out. She went to her bed to lay down and instantly she fell asleep. In the morning she awoke with a start seeing the HindWing that she had seen before that was once among the Kindles.
“Hello my name is Kella, What is yours?” Said the HindWing.
“Why should i tell you? You are not one of my kind you are a enemy of me if you work for the Kindles.”
“Actually i’m not working for them, i got captured just like you and now i’m a slave intel the Queen wants to let me go, which is going to be long time from now because they want me for some reason. And the Queen isn’t even a Kindle at all she’s a Dragon-”
“A Dragon!?! So thats why the Kindles work together so well, there supposed to work alone but the Queen tells them what and what not to do, and the Kindles are scared of the Queen, but for what purpose? The Kindles have many but the Queen is only one person-”
“You interrupted me! The Queen is a DragonFury a very, very, dangerous kind of Dragon. So now can you tell me your name?”
“Myron-”
“Wait, Myron the Chosen One? The person who is supposed to be the one who frees the earth of all evil? The pers-”
“Wait, wait, wait, the Chosen one? What is that supposed to mean? The person who frees Earth from all evil? What are you thinking? That i’m a important person? I’m just a normal ordinary JewelWing.”
“No, you are not just a normal ordinary JewelWing! You have the scar of future right there see?”
Myron looked at the palm of her hand and saw a scar, her mother said it was a birthmark. But maybe she didn’t know of this nonsense.
“The prophesy states that you are the Chosen and I am the One of Destiny-”
That moment a Kindle came inside the room.
“Highness has told me to bring you two to her.” Said the Kindle in a low voice.
Then he grabbed are wrists and walked out of the room. Once we got there the Kindle let go of our wrists, in front of us was a throne with a DragonFury Queen siting on it. There was a silence in the room for a long period of time the Queen broke the silence, “Hello, my name is Fury the Queen of all Earth!”
“Then why did you capture me? I’m up in the sky, i’m not on Earth so you have no control over me.” Said Myron.
“I do because you are on earth and in my fortress.” She broke out a laugh.
Then Myron flew up and said: “Now i’m not on Earth i’m in the air, i might be in your silly fortress, but i am in the air none of your silly Kindles can get me!”
“But I can.”
Then Fury flew up towards Myron grabbed her arm and pulled her down to the ground.
“Ugh, why do you have to have wings?”
“Because so i can get what i want when i want it. Guards!”
Some of the Kindle Guards took us back to are room and Myron managed to get the key from one of there pockets.
“Kella, i grabbed the keys out of that Kindle Guards pocket.” She pointed to a Kindle very ugly and buffed up. “Which key is ours?”
“Hmm… I think the guard used that one when unlocking the room to lees us to the Queen.” Kella pointed at a large golden key.
“Maybe, let’s try it.” Myron scrolled through the keys to the large golden key, she put the key in the key-hole and unlocked the door.
“It works!”
Myron tried to open the door but it wouldn’t budge.
“Apparently not.” Said Kella in a disappointed voice.
“Wait a second, the window!”
“What about it?”
“We could try to open the window with the key!”
Not even a second later did Myron rush across the room, put the key through the key-hole in the window, unlocked it and went through the window. It was night time, the workers were asleep, so she ran across and found a forest. She found a bush and made herself hidden.

Kella ran after Myron and saw her hidden in a bush. she ran to the bush and found herself trying to be hidden like Myron.
After a little while they heard voices. “Ya’ be need’n a spank’n little miss.” And then a low voice came out. “No ya’ need’n a spank’n Ma!” It was a gang of Shaydes, dark as midnight never see them coming for you. “Go to the corner’ of shame little missy.” The voices kept on babbling about if the other should have a punishment or not.
“We need to get out’a here.” Kella whispered.
“Your right we need a plan.” Myron whispered back.
Myron and Kella thought for a moment.
“Why don’t we use are wings and fly around a little bit? They can’t get us in the sky,” Myron explained.
“So what’a you waiting for Myron let’s go!” Kella interrupted.
“Don’t interrupted me!” Then the gang of heard there yelling and ran up to them, Kella and Myron didn’t see them of corse, but they did hear them.
“Fly up Kella! Fly up!” Yelled Myron.
While they were flying up into the sky, one of the Shades grabbed Myron’s leg and pulled her to the ground. “What’s this? Oh, a JewelWing. Did you know that we can get a lot o’ money from these little suck’as Jock.” Said the Mother of the other.
“Oh. Really? We should sell’er than Ma.” Said Jock.
Then they covered Myron with a cloth bag and picked her up.
Kella saw the her get taken away and thought for a little while about how she can save Myron from them gang o’ Shade’s.

Meanwhile in the bag Myron got her pocketknife out of her pocket that was in one of her wings and tried to cut the cloth bag. Apparently the cloth bag was actually Dragon skin, so she couldn’t cut the bag.
Once they got her out of bag she was in a room with Dwarven runes all around the walls. She read…

Help me, i’m in the dudgeons of Mordor, help!

It translated. She read more…

5 years i’ve been in this cell…

And that was it. Very strange it stopped right there, She thought. Why did it stop? Did the person that was righting this die or get sent away?  These thoughts roamed in her mind for hours on end. Hours passed, she saw a handsome, strong, not normal, man. Wait, he’s not normal so what is he? She examined the man. He had broad shoulders, a face of flesh, bone, eye’s, he sort’a looked like her without wings. (She has never seen a human before). The man picked her up and put her on one of his broad shoulders. He started walking. After a while they came to a door, brown, with golden engraved writing, and a little diamond, ruby, and silver heart jewel too. The man opened the door, rubes, diamonds, and jewels of all kinds, houses made out of dark brown wood, then she spotted the palace, beautiful. Then she remembered that she was a prisoner. What does the prison look like? She asked herself.
“Were are you?” Yelled a kid playing hide-and-go-seek.
“Over here!” Yelled a kid that was already found.
“I mean the people who i didn’t find yet.” said the kid, it was a girl.
“Look, there’s the prisoner.” The other kid whispered, it was a boy.
“But wait, She has some’a those wings that are supposed to be JewelWing’s wings. Is she a JewelWing? I thought they were only in fairy tales.”
“Ya, my mama told me that they didn’t exist. But why would my mama lie to me? Maybe she didn’t know they existed.”
“Know what you mean brother. Should we help her get out?”
“Good idea, we’ll make a plan.”
“Wait she is the Princess.”
“Then why is she tied up?”
“I have no idea.”
Myron couldn’t get any more information, she was not in hearing distance anymore, when she looked at were she was going the man was heading towards the palace. She struggled, she could not get out of this this mans menacing grip. Then fell unconscious.
In the palace was a throne of no other. It was made in a jewel melting system. It was wooden, dipped in melted diamonds, then gold nuggets placed around the outside. It was a beauty. She was untied then sat down in  a chair beside the throne.
“You are my daughter.” Said the king sitting upon the throne. “I am sorry for any mis-treatment.”
“Oooo-kaayyy.” Said Myron.
And they lived happily ever after.

The End
